“We contacted the studio about a shared children’s bedroom. The brief was quite specific: fit two sleeping places, useful storage and a proper study surface. The local point that mattered in our case was transport through stairs and terraces. It changed one detail, but not the overall look. They asked sensible questions, showed us where the first idea would have caused problems and set out the revised layout clearly. The finish has been easy to maintain, which mattered to us as much as the appearance.”
